Clay County Fair Pageants
Those who either win the title or place on the court must meet the requirements set forth by the organization.
The winner of the title Clay County Fair Princess has duties assigned to her before, during, and after the Clay County 4-H Fair. She and a legal guardian must acknowledge and sign an official contract to adhere to the commitment and fulfill the scheduled duties to the best of her ability. Failure to do so will result in revocation of title and prizes.
Those who place on the Princess' court are those that win either runner-up position. They and a legal guardian, too, must sign an official contract to adhere to the commitment and fulfill the scheduled duties to the best of her ability. Failure to do so will result in revocation of title and prizes.
Events that are scheduled coordinate with the official fair schedule set forth by the 4-H Council. Duties are assigned by the Pageant Directors and committee and try to avoid conflicts for exhibitors who are also on the courts. A sample of the scheduled events is included below.
